G’day everybody! I’m very excited to see everyone! It’s been a wonderful five weeks of travel, and great running whether in NZ or Ghana! I also was able to find two Ghanaians that would be worthy founders of our Crawlers’s first international branch in Accra. The great thing about running in Ghana was that you’d go on a run, run by or catch up with another runner, and after greeting one another, there is a good chance that you’d be suddenly running together, getting the true local perspective of the culture and the hills.
I also want to check with the group to see if it is ok for Crawlers to move to Thursday from now until the end of April. This will accommodate my class schedule (I’ll be in Richmond Monday-Wednesday). Do let me know if this is too difficult for many of you. We of course will have to adjust workouts accordingly on race weeks as Thursday is one day closer to the race. If this is ok, I greatly appreciate everyone’s flexibility.
This week’s workout – quarters at Cardozo. I’m greatly looking forward to seeing everybody. Also, if you need a team to root for in the Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana has made it to the semi-finals! Go Black Stars!
