Two very different things, right?
Well, the Crawlers have several runners competing in the Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, October 27, so we’ll be hosting two separate workouts. The first will be a tempo on the track consisting of alternative 500’s and 100’s. The 500’s will be at 5k/10k pace, but the 100 “rest” will be at marathon pace, making the workout a bit more difficult than a leisurely jaunt to the start line.
For the marathoners, we’ll have them stick to whatever is in their taper plan. Some will be doing marathon-paced tempos and others will be doing striders.
Both workouts will start at 6:30 a.m. at Bannecker Track at 2500 Georgia Avenue, NW Washington, DC.
