A rainy day kinda workout (2/24)

Don’t let the rain keep you away! Join us at Cardozo track at 6:30am for ladder workout led by Julie Dickerson!

 1600m, 800m, 400m, 800m, 1600m

We will make a game time decision (based on weather conditions) whether to rest 1.5-2 min between sets or jog a 400m after the 1600m and 200m after the 800s/400s.

Love The Run You’re With 5k Results

We had a chilly race for the Love The Run You’re With 5k in Alexandria on February 14, 2016! We had a small but solid crew brave the cold-Julie Dickerson, Sam Gulland, and myself (Caroline Mosley). Despite the conditions (probably around 10 degrees Fahrenheit), we bundled up and ran hard 🙂

Julie: 19:32, 2nd female overall

Caroline: 20:18

Sam Gulland: 21:01 (He said was going to run a 21:00 minute 5k and was true to his word!

Wednesday Workout (2/10/16)

Weekly Wednesday Workout led by Charlie/Ben!

Let’s get together tomorrow morning at 6:30am at Cardozo for longer intervals (if the gates are locked head to Banneker at 6:35am).

We’ll start with 1.5 miles at 10k pace, followed by a 400m rest, followed by 800m at 5k pace, followed by 200m rest, followed by a final 1.5 miles at 10k pace (this one hopefully faster than the first).

All are welcome!

Welcome to 2016 Everyone!

My name is Caroline and, with Sam’s blessing, I am going to liven up this site again with weekly workouts, upcoming races, and lots of awesome pictures.

Please join us for Wednesday workouts at 6:30am at either Cardozo Track or Banneker Track. All are welcome! We don’t bite (hard), I swear 🙂 I will post the weekly workouts on this site, as well as on the Cardozo Crawlers Facebook group and Google listserv.
